ITANAGAR, Oct 30:  Members of Arunachal Pradesh Women's Welfare Society (APWWS) met the women vendors who lost their livelihood in the recent fire incident that burnt down the Naharlagun daily market.
The women vendors told the APWWS team that they are facing innumerable hardship as they are struggling to meet the daily needs of their family members.
Hura Yapuk, Chairperson of Women Wing, Bazaar Welfare Committee, Naharlagun thanked APWWS for coming forward to share the grief of the vendors who are mostly widows, single mothers and sole earners for the family. They have lost everything overnight because of the fire, she said.
Kipa Nai, Chairman and Tadar Tania,  Secretary, Bazaar Welfare Committee also appreciated the APWWS for taking out time to meet the affected vendors. APWWS handed over a sum of Rs 45,200 which was voluntarily contributed by the members to the Bazar Welfare Committee.
