NAMSAI, May 28: In a significant gesture marking the beginning of his tenure, Kaling Moyong, the newly elected State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Arunachal Pradesh, undertook his first official visit starting from the sacred precincts of the Golden Pagoda in Namsai District on Tuesday. He was warmly welcomed by deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, local MLA Zingnu Namchoom, district President Ong Maio and party karyakartas.
During his visit, Moyong held a key interaction session with the newly elected District President, Mandal Presidents, and office bearers of BJP Namsai District, underscoring the importance of grassroots-level leadership and organizational unity.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein reflected on the inspiring journey of the party under the dynamic and visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mein urged the gathering to continue serving the people with devotion, humility, and a spirit of sacrifice, reminding them that the strength of the BJP lies in its deep roots and tireless grassroots workers.
He expressed heartfelt thanks to Prime Minister Modi for the resounding success of Operation Sindoor, a mission that showcased India’s strength and resolve, bringing pride to every citizen. Mein emphasized that as the Panchayat elections approach, it is time for every karyakarta to stand united, vigilant, and ready to serve with renewed enthusiasm.
With an optimistic tone, he spoke of economic empowerment, sharing his belief that the next ten years under PM Modi will bring unprecedented development to the North East. He announced that over Rs. 75,000 crore in investments are expected to flow into the region following the successful Rising North East Summit, opening doors of opportunity for youth, entrepreneurs, and communities across sectors.
Mein also emphasized the importance of celebrating and sharing the values and vision of the Prime Minister with the people. He proposed a series of inspiring programs to be held across the state, including: ‘Ek Pad Maa Ke Naam, Seminar on Operation Sindoor, Digital Exhibitions, Tiranga Yatra, panel discussion, Loktantra Hatya Diwas etc these programs are not just events,” Mein said, “they are heartfelt expressions of our shared dreams, our heritage, and our collective future.
Kaling Moyong, highlighted the developmental initiatives in the state and urged party rank and file to update every development achievement and policies and programmes in the state on social media for public awareness to get the benefits. He appreciated DCM for historic record breaking GST collected by the state government. He also highlighted in details on the recent concluded training for MLAs and MPs at Guwahati.
Local MLA Zingnu Namchoom, lauded the dedicated BJP karyakartas for organizing all assigned tasks in a well-coordinated and befitting manner. He expressed confidence in the party's growing strength and asserted that the BJP would secure a thumping majority in the forthcoming panchayat elections in the district.
Highlighting the achievements and ongoing developmental initiatives in the state, he stated that Arunachal Pradesh is witnessing transformative progress across all sectors under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein. He emphasized that government schemes and policies are being implemented effectively at the grassroots level, ensuring inclusive growth and development.
Today, Moyong, accompanied by his team, visited the District BJP Office and Namsai Mandal Office and held a fruitful interaction.
