Basar, Aug 25: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Arunachal Pradesh, State President Kaling Moyong received a warm and grand reception at Basar, Lepa Rada District, today.
As part of his official tour, Moyong inaugurated the new BJP District Office for Lepa Rada, marking a significant step in strengthening the party organisation at the grassroots level.
The programme was graced by several dignitaries, including Jonya Basar, District President BJP Lepa Rada; Mutchu Mithi, MLA and Chief Spokesperson BJP Arunachal Pradesh; Tojir Kadu, MLA Nari-Koyu, Nyabi Dirchi, MLA Basar; among others.
In his keynote speech, Moyong called upon the karyakartas to work tirelessly to strengthen the organisation. He highlighted the recently held state-level workshop for Mandal Presidents, District Presidents, MLAs, SOBs, Chairmen, and Vice Presidents, emphasizing the need for closer coordination between elected representatives and party workers.
He reiterated that the BJP is “a party with a difference” and urged karyakartas to dedicate themselves to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pema Khandu. Moyong emphasized the remarkable progress made in the health sector, recalling how people earlier had to depend on neighbouring Assam for treatment, whereas today the state is equipped with advanced facilities such as TRIHMS and many upgraded District Hospitals.
He further urged karyakartas to engage with retired officials, NGOs, and the business community to strengthen booth-level activities and ensure door-to-door outreach for a massive victory in the upcoming Panchayat elections. He also informed about formation of new Morcha teams to further enhance organisational strength.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Spokesperson Mutchu Mithi recalled the transformation brought by the BJP government, noting that regions like Roing and Basar, once difficult to access, now enjoy smooth connectivity due to extensive road construction under the Pema Khandu-led BJP government. He expressed confidence that State President Kaling Moyong, with his strong vision and capability, will lead the party effectively across every corner of Arunachal Pradesh and among every section of society.
