PASIGHAT, Feb 17: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Arunachal Pradesh organised a seminar on the Union Budget 2025-26 in Pasighat today, bringing together intellectuals, business leaders, influencers, and senior party karyakartas for an insightful discussion on the budget’s key aspects.
In his address, President state BJP, Kaling Moyong welcomed the Union Budget calling it a “people-friendly budget" that prioritises inclusive development and economic growth. He highlighted the key provisions of the budget and its positive impact on Arunachal Pradesh and the nation. Moyong praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his vision of Viksit Bharat (Developed India). He emphasised crucial aspects of the budget, such as income tax exemptions and other major economic reforms designed to accelerate progress. The budget proposes exempting incomes up to `12 lakh from taxation, a significant increase from the previous `2.5 lakh threshold. Moyong noted that this change has "won the hearts of the middle class." The introduction of the Prime Minister Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana aims to support farmers through partnerships with state governments. Additionally, the enhancement of Kisan Credit Cards will facilitate short-term loans to farmers, with loan limits increased from `3 lakh to `5 lakh under a modified interest subvention scheme. Prime Minister Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana: A scheme designed to enhance agricultural productivity and support farmers. Kisan Credit Card (KCC) Expansion: The initiative aims to provide enhanced credit facilities to 7.7 crore farmers, fishermen, and dairy farmers, with loans up to `5 lakh. 
While appreciating PM Modi for all round development in the country, he said that after 27 years, BJP Government was formed with thumping majority in Delhi Assembly election 2025 which reflect that development initiatives for the welfare of its peoples was recognised. 
Moyong also highlighted the developmental activities initiative by PM Modi and Chief Minister Pema Khandu in the state of Arunachal Pradesh and said that budget 2025-26 is not for BJP but for all walks of life in  society. Now communication is very easy for the people under the BJP government in the state, he urged upon party karyakartas to  carry forward all programmes and policies at the grassroot level.  
Mohonto Pangging, Retd. Group Captain Indian Airforce who attended as resource person presented an insightful Power Point presentation on Union Budget 2025-26, explaining its provisions and their implications for different sectors, including infrastructure, healthcare, education, and rural development. Following the presentation, an interactive Q&A session was conducted, allowing participants to engage directly with the speakers. Business professionals, intellectuals, and senior party members raised queries on various aspects of the budget which were addressed.
The seminar was attended by Alo Libang Advisor to Chief Minister, Zingnu Namchoom MLA cum State General secretary, state Vice-Presidents Tarh Tarak, Tagin siga, Yalem Taga Burang, Office Secretary Joram Tat, District In-charges, Chief Councellor, Councelore, ZPMs, business community and party karyakartas.
