Itanagar, Feb 3: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Arunachal Pradesh unit President, Kaling Moyong, today attended a felicitation programme for the newly elected Zilla Parishad Chairpersons (ZPCs) and Zilla Parishad Members (ZPMs), along with the distribution of appointment letters to the newly appointed State Office Bearers of the BJP Kisan Morcha.  The programme was held under the leadership of Gumsen Lollen, President, BJP Kisan Morcha, Arunachal Pradesh State Unit.
Addressing the gathering, Moyong emphasized the need for dedicated and committed efforts to further strengthen the party at the grassroots level. He lauded the remarkable performance of the BJP Kisan Morcha in the recent Local Body Elections, stating that among the five frontal morchas of the State BJP, the Kisan Morcha achieved significant success by electing seven ZPMs and one ZPC from Namsai. He noted that a maximum number of candidates allotted party tickets from the Kisan Morcha emerged victorious, reflecting its strong organizational strength and effective grassroots outreach.
During the programme, the State President strongly hailed the recent (i.e on 2nd Feb 2026) India–US Trade agreement, describing it as a major milestone following the India–EU Deal. He stated that the agreement would bring substantial benefits to Indian farmers and the MSME sector, while further strengthening India’s global standing and economic influence. 
The State President was accompanied by State Vice President Zingnu Namchoom, MLA; Dunguli Libang; Tarh Soping; Taying Shakuntala; Higam Loyi Ango; State General Secretary Junty Singpho; and other senior office bearers.
