YINGKIONG, Aug 3:The BRTF authority reported that the Bailey Suspension Bridge over Siang river at Ditte-Dime (65 km) has became weak and deteriorated as one anchorage cable has been broken. The said bridge is considered technically unsafe & structurally not sound to bear plying of heavy loaded vehicles. The maintenance work is being taken up by the BRTF to restore the said damage bridge. DC Upper Siang Remo Kamki suggested the plying of heavy loaded vehicles to use and divert through Ditte-Dime Moying road in order to avoid untoward incidents.
