AALO, Apr 8: As part of Mopin celebrations, West Siang Cycle Association organised a MTB cycle ride there in the township on April 7 last.
MLA Aalo East and Adviser, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Advocate Kento Jini flagged off the ride from Gumin Kiin. The MLA exhorted the cyclists to ride safely and send the message of health benefits of cycling through such adventurous sports. Organizing Chairman Kapil Kamsi while highlighting the growing popularity of MTB across the country assured to organise more such events in the district in future.
Gollo Joseph, Tajum Dere and Manindra Singh Dhingra bagged the first, second and third prizes respectively. Kago Mobin was declared the Most Promising Rider and Bhupen Likson was the eldest among the participants. DIPRO
