CHANGLANG, Jul 16: The first quarterly District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) meeting of Changlang was held today here at the Conference Hall of the Mini Secretariat under chairmanship of DC Dr. Devansh Yadav.
MLA Changlang South Posum Khimhun and MLA Bordumsa-Diyun Somlang Mossang attended the meeting which was also joined by the ADCs of Bordumsa, Miao and Jairampur and panchayat members. The Bordumsa-Diyun MLA stressed on the need for conducting ground survey to check the feasibility of projects, adding that no advance payment should be made to contractors, which makes them complacent. The Changlang South MLA suggested the PRI members to help departments in implementing the ongoing schemes.
The DC assured that henceforth no Land Availability Certificates will be issued by the administrative officers without the signature of Executive Engineer and further suggested the departments to incorporate the estimates for external electricity and water connections in their parent scheme/proposal.
