CHARJU, Jul 31: Khonsa-East Assembly Constituency MLA Wanglam Sawin on Friday made a visit to the Care Me Home Drugs De-addiction Cum Rehabilitation Center here in Tirap district.
Accompanied by his wife Nyason Sawin, Medical Superintendent, General Hospital, Khonsa Dr Khogen Socia and ZPM Bari Basip, the MLA distributed masks, fruits and juices to the inmates. While motivating the inmates to live life with positivity, the MLA appreciated the members and staff of the center and thanked the Chairperson of Care Me Home Welfare Society, Sontung Bangsia for working relentlessly in bringing the drug addicts into the mainstream.
Sawin also assured of all-possible help to the centre which has 26 inmates at present. DIPRO
