ITANAGAR, May 2: The Itanagar MLA Techi Kaso on Saturday carried out inspection of infrastructure of various government schools of the capital complex.
The MLA alongwith Deputy Director of School Education (DDSE) Mallo Yam Gollo, ZPM Taro Tagia, CPC Tana Taho Tara, officials of various line departments visited various Government Higher Secondary school, Secondary Schools and Middle schools of capital complex and interacted with school heads, block & community resource persons and school management committee members to know the ground information of present infrastructure and also the required infrastructure.
“As the state government has taken up education as priority sector and declared this year as 'The year of Education', I have been visiting various schools of my assembly constituency and requesting the school authority and SMC to proposed important and priority scheme for their respective school so that the education department can take up for smooth functioning of the school and development of education scenario of capital complex,” Kaso said.
Capital Complex having the highest percentage of population and also a huge number of students need special care and attention from the department and state government. Hope the education department and state government also consider our proposal in the priority list, he added. Kaso further appealed to the denizens of the capital complex to obey all orders and advisory issued by the state government, district administration, health department in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. The people should also obey the night curfew imposed by the capital administration which is in the greater interest of the health sector, the MLA added.
