Ziro, Sep 15: Ziro MLA, Er. Hage Appa, chaired a coordination meeting on Monday at the Secretariat Building, Ziro, with Administrative officers, Superintendent of Police, Heads of departments, organisers of ZFM and other stakeholders in view of the forthcoming Ziro Festival of Music (ZFM) scheduled from September 25-28.
The meeting was convened in anticipation of the Union Minister, Government of India, three Chief Ministers, the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, and many other dignitaries, as well as large numbers of visitors from across the country and abroad, expected to attend the festival.
During the meeting, the MLA directed ADC Hage Tarung to issue duty detailment to all concerned departments, including PWD, RWD, PHE&WS, UD&H, Medical and others, to ensure efficient management, accountability and smooth conduct of the festival. He also requested that officers refrain from availing leave during the festival period to ensure full preparedness.
Organiser of ZFM, Hano Bobby, briefed the house on the preparations underway and introduced his nodal officers deputed for various locations, including the main festival venue. He further informed that the Indian Air Force Band will present a special tribute to martyr Corporal Late Tage Hailyang during the festival.
Superintendent of Police, Keni Bagra, also addressed the gathering and outlined security measures to be implemented in view of the VVIPs and the large number of visitors expected.
Immediately after the meeting, the MLA  along with officers and organisers, visited the camping site at Biiri, where the VVIPs will be accommodated during ZFM, to inspect the facilities, security arrangements and other necessary provisions.
The meeting concluded with a call for collective effort, coordination and dedication from all stakeholders to ensure the grand success of ZFM 2025 and to showcase the rich cultural heritage and hospitality of Ziro Valley before national and international visitors.
