NAMSAI, Jun 17: Mahila Kisan Shashaktikaran Pariyojana(MKSP) orientation and convergence programme was held here at DC Conference Hall organized by BMMU Namsai and Chongkham (ArSRLM).
DC Dr. Tapasya Raghav chaired the programme with participation by several allied department HODs, PD (DRDA), DVO(Vet), ADF (Fishery), BDO (Lekang and Namsai), DHO (Horticulture), ADA (Agriculture) Namsai and ADC Namsai. The programme was aimed for orientation on MKSP and convergence of ArSRLM with allied sectors and Namsai and Chongkham ArSRLM briefly presented their targets, thrust areas and achievements for the financial year 2019-20. Block Coordinator Livelihood Junmen Longri detailed on the needs of implementing MKSP with the intervention of line departments and stressed on its importance which is undertaken to provide all the agriculture based livelihood technical support with ecological practices for uplifting the economy of rural women farmer of the state. 
DC said it will be a beneficial project for rural women if executed properly and also asked the ArSRLM staff of Namsai and Chongkham to remain constantly  in touch and depute SRLM staffs to work out the convergence on beneficiary basis with other departments. She also stressed on sub-committee formation on social issues in connection with Primary Level Federation with focus on Organic Village under MKSP and present a concrete plan in this regard.
