ITANAGAR, Nov 7: The family members of Tapi Mra and Niku Dao have urged the state government to continue the Search & Rescue operation without any further excuses with full men and financial support to the S&R team.
Day after  holding more than 5 hrs of meeting with the Minister Sports & Youth Affairs and MinisterTourism Nakap  Nalo,  the written resolution was handed over to the family members on Monday.
Speaking to the media, sister of Everester Tapi Mra informed that the state government has accepted almost all the proposals of the family members. The government has accepted to continue the Search & Rescue operation at a favourable season, as there is heavy snow at this time in the said location.
She also informed that, they have demanded proper action against the DC East Kameng within one month. While the demands for talks with Chinese counterparts, the authority has asserted that they have already initiated the talks about the missing mountaineer and his assistant.
Further, the authority has also assured that after confirmation of the death of  Everester Tapi Mra the indoor Stadium of Daporijo will be named as after him after the recommendation of  DC Upper Subansiri.
The government also assured to extend financial support to the family members of Niku Dao and a government job for a family member of Tapi Mra.
