ITANAGAR, Mar 31: A minor girl (7) lost her life due to alleged food poisoning and 40 others were hospitalized in Kra Daadi district.
Speaking to media, Superintendent of Police Dusu Kaling informed that the incident occurred on Monday last at Christ Care Public School, Yangte where more than 40 students were infected with food poisoning and one minor lost her life while being taken to Itanagar for further medical aid on March 30 last.
Based on a complaint lodged by the parents, we initiated the investigation and registered a case15/22 U/S-304/337/328/273 IPC. We have arrested, the Principal, Warden, and Cook of the school. Further investigation is in process, the SP said.
As per reports, there were 130 students in the school; health of the remaining students is improving, stated the SP.
