ITANAGAR, May 2:Minister for Rural development & Panchayati Raj, Alo Libang on Tuesday while raising concern over poor implementation of RD programme in the state called for streamlining so that benefits of the programmes reach every household especially in rural areas.

He also suggested the RD workforce to regularly update the MIS, PFMS and PMS and prepare in time the Annual action plan-2017-18 of all schemes for timely release of central fund.

Libang was addressing a review meeting under PMGSY(WD) on preparation of DPR/e-dpr , public finance management system(PFMS) ,Process Management software (PMS, Management Information system (MIS) ad preparation of annual action plan for WCDC and PIA under Rural Development department held today at SIRD hall ,Itanagar.

Parliamentary Secretary, Mama Natung in his address suggested for strict implementation of poverty alleviation programme for benefit of the rural poor. He also advised that there should be quarterly review meeting on RD programme and encouraged the officials to work with unity and team work for better implementation of the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Secretary RD, Dani Salu asked all officers to be sincere and dedicated to their duties and remain present at their place of posting.

He also highlighted on the background and objective of IWMP and opined that this review meeting was long felt and sought cooperation of all officers for further development of RD department.

Technical expert, SLNA, M.Ronya through power point presentation elaborated on current status of IWMP in the state like MIS, PFMS, Annual action plan, DPR etc and also reflected on scope of development.
