NAHARLAGUN, Mar 16: Minister TP & ULB, Nabam Rebia took stock of the Burial cum Cremation ground at Karsingsa, Nirjuli today. He was accompanied by Director Town Planning & ULB, Chief Councillor, Deputy Chief Councillor, Councillors and Officials of Itanagar Municipal Council. The visit was necessitated as the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh summoned the Capital MLA, IMC authority and others at Raj Bhawan at the morning hours and emphasised on early construction of burial cum cremation ground in the capital complex. It may be mentioned here that the Governor had personally visited the defunct site on March 14 last.

Later, the IMC team along with the Capital MLA also called on the Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein at his office and apprised him on the various issues confronting the Itanagar Municipal Council; to which Mein assured to take up all issues placed with the Chief Minister on priority.
