Seppa, May 23: A kickoff meeting was held between Deputy Commissioner Seppa and Team Indian Air Force lead by Wing Commander S Shanmugam, Commanding Officer 11 Airmen Selection Centre Guwahati, along with Sergeant Ajith and Corporal Hari.
The Wing Commander elaborated upon the Agniveervayu scheme of entry and solicited all help and coordination from District Administration Seppa to enable awareness amongst the youth towards joining the Indian Air Force. DC West Kameng assured all support towards this aim and proposed a structured approach by ensuring awareness campaigns, training for youth and concerted efforts towards enhanced registrations.
The meeting was attended by various officers of the district administration.
