NIRJULI, Apr 5: The first extended executive body meeting of Nyishi Elite Society to chalk out the agenda for upcoming the Nyishi Day scheduled to be held from April 19 next was held today at Nyikum Nyia Hall Nyirjuli.

The meeting was attended by central,  District Unit and Block Level executive members from  Kurung Kumey, Kra Daadi, Upper Subansiri, Lower Subansiri, East Kameng, Papum Pare, West Kameng and Assam.

The NES has also constituted a committee to find out  pioneers of Nyishi Community for their proper recognition and urged all the members to work with team spirit in serving the community. 

NES, Vice-President east, Tarh Tabin explained the objectives of convening the meeting and shared the long and arduous journey of Nyishi Elite Society since inception and urged all to maintain its sanctity and prestige.
