NEW DELHI, Dec 7:  Mayor Itanagar Municipal Corporation (IMC)- Tamme Phassang called on Roopa Mishra, Joint Secretary and National Mission Director, Swachh Bharat Mission-Urban (SBM-U)GoI, and  SK Jain, Director Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs(GoI) at New Delhi on Wednesday.
During the meeting, Phassang apprised both the officials about various programmes being taken up by the IMC under AMRUT 2.0 projects. Phassang also briefed the officials about ongoing projects like Solid Waste Management Plants (SWMP), Sewage treatment plants (STP) and other major projects in the IMC jurisdiction.
Meanwhile, the Officials  from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs as assured to confer all possible support to the IMC whenever there is any need for the all-round development of the  IMC and state as a whole.
Mayor Tamme Phassang also was accompanied by the Corporator Ward No. 16 -Tarh Achak.
