AALO, Aug 22: Due to incessant rains for the last few days, many districts –Shi- Yomi, West Siang, Leparada, Siang are facing acute communication bottlenecks as the Aalo-Pangin road is completely blocked and the Aalo- Likabali road snapping for the last three days.
The only alternative route available is the Rumgong-Boleng-Mariyaang road via Pasighat. This route however is long and road condition is in a bad shape at many stretches and also prone to road blocks. Commercial passenger vehicles that start from Itanagar early in the morning reach Aalo around midnight due to long the journey and road cutting works at night time causing much inconvenience to commuters.
