KHONSA, Sep 2: The Tirap Police arrested a man with suspected heroin based on a tip off in Khonsa on Friday. The man has been identified as Wangtoh Wangsu, 44, a local resident.
Police on recieving an information from a reliable source regarding peddling and possession of narcotic drugs, swung into action. The team with Town Magistrate, Dr. Ripi Doni raided the suspect's house at Helipad Colony, Khonsa during which suspected drugs (Heroin) packed inside a green plastic soap case weighing 10.71 grams was recovered from suspect.
We have so far received information about two peddlers on Drug helpline numbers (9436046055 SP Tirap) and both have been converted into successful raids with arrests, the SP said in a press release.
