NAMSAI, Jan 29: E-launching of Nidhi Aapke Nikat District outreach programme was held in Namsai on January 27 last for service delivery and grievance redressal of pensioners and employees. The program was organised by EPFO(Employees Provident fund Organisation), Regional office, Tinsukia through Project Director DRDA Namsai.
The programme was attended by Uttam Prakash, Regional PF Commissioner; Rahul Verma, Regional PF Commissioner; Deputy Commissioner Namsai,  employers and employees of DRDA Namsai, Lohit, Anjaw, Lower Dibang Valley, Dibang Valley and representatives of private firms highlighted their issues. 
During the online video conferencing with Secretary, Ministry of Labour  & Employment,  DC Namsai  highlighted issues relating to EPF. Stating that majority of the employees  were not aware of the benefit of EPF, he requested that EPF office should be opened in Namsai district. 
During the program numerous EPF issues of employees were settled on the spot. 
The regional PF commissioner highlighted the importance covering workers under EPF for social security.
