Pitapool, May 28: Minister for PHED, WS, IT and TCL, Wangki Lowang dedicated a slew of developmental projects under 01-Pitapool Zilla Constituency of  Yachuli Assembly Constituency during a developmental meeting held at Pitapool general ground on Saturday in the presence of Minister for Education, Art & Culture, and Indigenous Affairs, Taba Tedir, ZPC Likha Sangchhore, Deputy Commissioner Somcha Lowang and other dignitaries.
Giving a major thrust to the tourism prospects in the area, Lowang also laid the foundation stone for an Adventure Zone at Yazali.He also dedicated a trekking route from Chod village to Kiir Senyi. He urged the locals to inculcate tourism friendly behaviour to increase the tourists flow in the area. He further emphasized on the need to protect the flora and fauna of the area and requested the people to abstain from hunting.
Lowang also inaugurated various road projects, office of  the Yazali Hydro Power E&M Sub division office at New Pitapool, community hall with rostrum at Billo, rostrum at Potin general ground, water supply projects to villlages around Pitapool from the Pitapool general ground simultaneously.  He further assured to sanction a  separate PHE Division and Sub Division for the Yachuli Assembly constituency.
Also speaking on the occasion, Taba Tedir, who is also the local MLA urged all the HoDs and PRI members to strive to ensure that the benefits of the Chief Minister's flagship programmes reaches to the people in the last mile.
ZPC Likha Sangchhore expressed her gratitude to the government for sanctioning the developmental projects and urged upon the public to protect and utilise the assets properly.
The programme was organised by the Pitapool Zilla Constituency Development Committee led by Nabam Piju, ZPM and Taba Ganya,GPC.
