LONGDING, Jun 15: Keeping in view of the susceptibility and vulnerability of  prisoners amid the prevailing Covid pandemic, 47 out of the 48 under trial prisoners (UTPs) were vaccinated today here at the Longding District Jail. Along with the vaccination drive, a review meeting to ascertain the grievances faced by the UTPs was also conducted. DC Longding Bani Lego, SP Vikram Harimohan Meena, JMFC Epi Kapu and EAC-cum-Jail Superintendent Dakli Gara interacted with the UTPs. The JMFC requested the police department to speed up the process of filing charge sheets which would quicken the process of justice delivery. DSP B.
