TEZU, Jul 25: The Sports Department of Lohit district today organized a District Level Indigenous Sports and Games program at Jubilee Ground, Tezu where six indigenous sports and games were organized to preserve, promote and popularize these games.
Chairman CALSOM, Bafrenso Pul who was the Chief Guest, emphasized on the role of indigenous games and sports in preserving the rich cultural heritage and encouraged the participants to indulge in sports activities instead of anti-social activities like drug addiction.
President IFCSAP A Gamre was also present at  the inauguration ceremony.
