Tezu, May 22: The 2nd District Level Aadhaar Monitoring Committee (DLAMC) was held today  at District Secretariat, Tezu, Lohit District under the chairmanship of Assistant Commissioner Himanshu Nigam.
Administrative officers and other officials of the Lohit District Administration attended the meeting along with officials from UIDAI, regional office Guwahati.
UIDAI officials gave presentation on Aadhaar and discussed about revalidation and updation of documents along with other issues.
In order to avoid and solve various issues related to enrolment of Aadhaar card, the chairman suggested that option of enrollment of Aadhaar card along with birth certificates can be explored.
He furthered stressed on the importance of Aadhaar card enrolment and continuous monitoring to cover the population without Aadhaar card.
