NAMSAI, July 15: Minister for H&FW, Alo Libang today launched the ‘Covid Vaccine Amrit Mahatsav’ at District Hospital Namsai in presence of MLAs Chau Zingnu Namchoom, Jummum Ete Deori, among others.
While launching the special drive, the minster expressed satisfaction and praised the frontline health workers for their dedicated service in containing the Covid pandemic for more than 2 years now. He expressed happiness that the interval for precautionary dose for beneficiaries of 18 years and above has been revised from 9 months to 6 months after the administration of 2nd dose by the Ministry of H&FW that too free of cost.
Libang appealed to all the eligible beneficiaries to avail this opportunity from the government CVCs (Covid Vaccination Centres) for the next 75 days from July 15 to September 30 next during the special covid vaccination drive.
36 beneficiaries were vaccinated today under Covid vaccine Amrit Mahotsav at CVC District Hospital Namsai.
