DAPORIJO, Mar 11: The land compensation payment for the Trans Arunachal Highways from Bopi to Daporijo which started on March 7 last concluded today.
The Trans Arunachal Highway (TAH) reassessment committee had completed the physical verification of road stretch from Bopi to Daporijo on March 3 last. With this, a total TAH road under Upper Subansiri district covering 116 Km has been verified. Soon the road corridor will be handed over to PWD Highway Department for early execution of construction work. The TAH is expected to pave a way for rapid socio-economic development in the district and state as a whole.
The TAH committee received tremendous response from the land affected beneficiaries during physical re-verification as a result of which the committee could complete the verification process in time bound manner.
