ITANAGAR, Aug 22: Leaders of labour organization held an important meeting regarding the fixation of labour wages at the Capital Deputy Commissioner's office and submitted proposal for fixation of labour wages for private and unorganized sector for the capital complex.
Speaking to the media, All Arunachal Pradesh Labour Union (AAPLU) President Dana Tadu informed that the union has received several complaints from various corners over labour wages.
"We have had various rounds of meeting earlier at Itanagar on August 2nd wherein a coordination meeting was held for fixation of labour wage at DC's conference hall. Several administrative officers of the capital administration including EAC Itanagar and EAC Naharlagun were present," he said.
A committee was constituted to explore fixation of wages of labourers community as per government norms which was submitted to the capital administration today. "We hope the administration approves it and at the same time the labour and workers community also adopts it," Tadu added.
