KORA, Aug 10:Incessant rain triggered landslides at two different points on the Koyu-Kora stretched of the road under 36th Nari-Koyu Assembly Constituency lead to the Koyu Circle being cut off from all surface communication.

However, with no help on the horizon, a group of unrelenting commuters took it upon themselves to clear the road for temporary passage of two wheelers and light motor vehicles, all with bare hands.

Meanwhile, on being conveyed of the ordeal faced by the local commuters, the students’ organisation of the area-Ramle Banggo Students’ Union (RBSU) made an ardent appeal to local legislator Kento Rina and the concern department authorities to initiate action for clearing the landslide hit areas of the road.
