ITANAGAR, Sep 6:  Chief Minister Pema Khandu has categorically denied reports of instability in his government as well as any attempt to reshuffle his cabinet and termed media reports as a total hoax.
Responding to reporters, Khandu asserted that the state government is in a strong position and there is no chance of any instability.
"Out of 60 MLAS, I have the support of 56 MLAs including  NDA’s affiliated  NPP and independent MLAs , so there is no chance to destabilize the present government," stated Khandu.
While terming the  'Delhi Chalo foot march' by the Arunachal Against Corruption(AAC)  as a political gimmick, Chief Minister Khandu stated that the group should go to court instead of defaming the name of Arunachal Pradesh.
"The state government is transparent, so if anybody has any doubt they should file PIL on  merit basis. I don’t have any interest to know who is behind such gimmick," stated  Khandu.
Earlier, Minister for Health & Family Welfare- Alo Libang whose name was also on the reshuffle list as per media report said, "I am a BJP MLA and it is the prerogative of the Chief Minister to change any Minister. Moreover, we take such reports as mere rumours."
Similarly, Minister –Urban Development Kamlung Mossang stated ‘for the last one year we have been hearing such hearsay.
Such reports may be politically motivated by vested interest.'
