Yachuli, Jul 9: A meeting on Immunization and Health Awareness was convened under the chairpersonship of Deputy Commissioner Keyi Panyor, Shweta Nagarkoti Mehta. The session focused on improving inter-departmental coordination and enhancing strategies for public health outreach in the district.
The meeting was attended by Biman Natung, District Medical Officer (DMO), Senior Medical Officer, and representatives from the World Health Organization (WHO) and NPSN. Key discussions addressed community-level immunization activities, monitoring mechanisms, and monthly health awareness initiatives.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance of sustained health education and immunization drives, particularly in underserved areas, through collective efforts and institutional frameworks.
The district administration reaffirmed its commitment to advancing community health and strengthening service delivery through collaborative action.
