PASIGHAT, Apr 5: The Post Graduate Department of Hindi, J N College, Pasighat organized a state level lecture series on April 4 last at the Conference Hall, Upper Campus.
The title of the day long lecture series was "Mahakavi Tulsidas and Premchand Aur Kisan Jeevan".Dr Tasi Taloh, the Principal and Dr Leki Sitang, the Vice- Principal of the host institute addressed the August gathering at the very inaugural session of the programme and congratulated Dr Tokpet Pertin for convening the first lecture series of this academic session. They also extended their heartfelt gratitude to the resource persons Dr Onek Lego, Professor & Head, Dept. of Hindi, RGU and Dr Arun Kumar Pandey, Associate Professor, Dept. of Hindi, RGU for accepting the invitation wholeheartedly.
Dr D P Panda, the IQAC Coordinator of JNC also delivered a short speech on the importance of organizing such programmes under the banner of the IQAC. The programme was very engaging. The two academic stalwarts Prof Oken Lego and Prof A K Pandey discussed the length and breadth of the title and engaged the students of the department for a fruitful discussion. The entire programme was nicely anchored by Dr BanasiriPertin and her team. Dr Ing Perme, Dr Zebina Taki, Ms Mumne Perme, Dr H N Pandey and other faculty members of the host institution were also present during the academic deliberation.
