INNAO, Mar 31: In a significant progress in implementing Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in the state, at least 96 households in Innao under Diyun Circle of Changlang district were provided with tap water connections today.
Diyun-Bordumsa MLA Samlung Mossang formally inaugurated the potable water supply provision. “Potable  drinking water was one of the long-pending demands of the people of the area and most significantly it was also in my election manifesto,” Mossang said while informing that from now onwards at least 96 households of Innao-I & II Blocks including the Government Higher Secondary School and nearby schools will get tap water facilities. The JJM project has been executed by the PHE and WS Division of Bordumsa with an estimated cost of Rs 103.17 lakh under W/S (Plan NRDWP).
Among others, EAC, Diyun S.Roy, ZPM, Bordumsa Khachang Miao, PRI leaders and officials of the department of PHE &WS Bordumsa Division attended the event.
