AALO, Nov 15: Arunachal Vikas Parishad (AVP), Indigenous Faith and Cultural Society of Arunachal Pradesh (IFCSAP) and Donyi Polo Kargu Gamgi (DPKG) jointly celebrated the Janjati Gaurav Diwas and birthday of Bhagwan Birsa Munda at Gumin Kiin here today.
Former MLA Gadam Ete attended the celebration as chief guest and public gathering was chaired by Doi Ado, Ex-minister and Chief Advisor, AVP, West Siang District Unit.
The Arunachal Vikas Parishad put up a photo exhibition of tribal freedom fighters of the independence movement.
In his speech, Ete emphasized on preservation and protection of tribal identity and its rich traditional culture.
