ITANAGAR, Jul 22: In a show of solidarity and support, the Manipur Welfare Society of Arunachal Pradesh (MWSAP) and Arunachal Life Saving Foundation (ALSF) have jointly announced to organise a 3-day mega blood donation camp. The event is scheduled to take place at the Dorjee Khandu Convention Hall in Itanagar from August 8 to 10 next.
ALSF Chairman Ramesh Jeke, while addressing reporters at the Arunachal Press Club, stated that the blood donation camp would be conducted in collaboration with the State Department of Health, and the Ramakrishna Mission Hospital (RKMH) Itanagar.
The primary objective of this initiative is to fulfill the urgent blood requirements for those affected by the ongoing violence in Manipur. Jeke emphasized that blood is a critical necessity during times of conflict, and the camp aims to provide support to the injured and affected individuals in Manipur.
MWSAP President L Sokun Singh has made a heartfelt appeal to all sections of society to actively participate in the blood donation camp and contribute to this humanitarian effort.
