ITANAGAR, Jul 25: A Constable identified as Joram Suraj of  3rd Indian Reserve Battalion (IRBN), lost his life in a tragic accident during election duty in West Bengal.
According to reports, Constable Joram Suraj was among the IRBN jawans deployed in West Bengal for election duty. The team was returning to Arunachal Pradesh after completing their duty and had boarded a special train, numbered 00339, from Bankura Railway Station at 19:30hrs.
As per the statement submitted by Adhoc . Asst. Commandant of 3rd IRBn Ander-West Bengal, the unfortunate event unfolded around 2 km before reaching Ander Railway Station. At approximately 01:30 hrs, Constable Joram Suraj reportedly jumped from the running train carriage. Tragically,  another train, traveling in the opposite direction, collided with him, resulting in severe injuries, and he succumbed to his injuries.
