Naharlagun, May 29: Secretary, IPR & Printing & Stationery Nyali Ete, while attending the valedictory programme on one-month training on binding of diary and planner at the Directorate of Printing and Stationery here today congratulated the employees of the department for the successful completion of the training.
Appreciating the Printing Department, the Secretary said in spite of lack of adequate machinery and equipment and lack of skilled staff in the government press, the department has printed the planner manually which is praiseworthy. Informing the efforts being put in by the department and from his personal level, he assured to procure latest equipment.
Earlier Deputy Director, Printing and Stationery, Hari Maring while highlighting the difficulties and problems in printing of planner by the department, informed that the department of IPR & Printing, has for the first time printed the planner as the same was outsourced earlier due to absence of qualified and skilled manpower and machineries. This time the department has taken the risk of printing it at the directorate by giving training to the available employees and it has been very successful, he added.
Deputy Director, IPR, Marbang Ezing who accompanied the Secretary along with other officers of IPR and Printing Department also spoke on the occasion.
