ITANAGAR, Jul 1: Secretary IPR&Printing Nyali Ete accompanied by  Director IPR Onyok Pertin and other officials from line departments made a daylong visit to the Film and Television Institute, Jote today to take stock of the progress of works undertaken by various departments.
In a threadbare discussion with  the officers, the Secretary said that the FTI is one of the major projects of the Government of India and it is  closely being monitored. Spelling out the timeline set for completion of works  pertaining to  building infrastructure, internal and external electrification, water supply,  boundary demarcation etc., as per decision taken in earlier visits, Ete pointed out that the progress is not going in the expected pace and exhorted all stakeholders to show more commitment so that the work is completed as per deadline set and the big asset for the state is utilised for the future generation. He disclosed that visit was necessitated  prior to Review Meeting to be held with State Chief Secretary on progress of FTI as on date date. Ete, further asked all stakeholders to present status of works assigned to them in detail in the meeting.
