YAZALI, July 7: An interschool district level quiz competition of elementary level was organised by the Samagra Shiksha Society/ISSE Lower Subansiri District at Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Yazali here on Thursday.
Inaugurating the competition, Taba Chana, Principal GHSS, Yazali, said that the best way to improve scientific temper among students was to involve curriculum activities by taking up challenges in calculating science and technology. 
"Organizing quiz competition among the students of government schools will be beneficial to the students updating current affairs of the world", he added.
Students from around 10 government schools of Yazali, all together 24 students, mostly from class 6 to class 9 participated in the quiz competition.
Basing of the three performances, Chukhu Jajar, Govt. Sec. School, Yachuli was declared the winner of inter school quiz competition, and second and third prizes were bagged by Govt. UPS, Yoizath and GSS Pitapol.
