BORDUMSA, Jul 13: The Rupai Battalion(Indian Army) under the aegis of Spear Corps organised a drawing competition on the theme “75 Years of Independence” under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav for creating awareness towards the Indian Independence movement. 120 students ( 50 Boys and 70 Girls) participated in the event.
Meanwhile, a medical camp was also organized in Lewang village, by the Rupai Battalion of Red Shield Division under the aegis of Spear Corps. The camp was organised in Government Secondary school in Lewang village, Changlang District. The aim of the medical camp was to provide free and quality medical consultation as well as to provide treatment for minor ailments to locals who belong to the adjoining underdeveloped areas.
A total of 210 patients were administered treatment including, 63 men, 113 women and 34 children.
