WAKRO, May 20: The Indian Army's Dao Division, 82 Mountain Brigade and the 181 Mountain Brigade was feted for its effort in supporting the girl child and promoting their education by the local community in Lohit.
Nannu Bains, FWO Chief of the Dao Division and Maj Gen Manpreet Singh Bains, GOC 2 Mountain Division received the 'Vineeta Thank You' cards as a token of appreciation today.
Secretary, Cultural and Literary Society of Mishmi (CALSOM), Suraj Tayang 
while thanking the Indian Army said that the initiatives taken up by the Dao Division and the brigades deployed in the region is making postive impact in the development of the communities in the entire region.
 The Anu Shiksha Seva Trust further stated that with two daughters completing college level education actively supported by the Indian Army, families and community are so touched by the humanitarian gesture of the Indian Army. 
Community leader Sohan Krong presented a report Ideal Parenting - The Indian Army shows the way to Ms Nannu Bains and Gen MS Bains. The report fondly mentions the efforts taken up by Brig Ajai Prakash, Maj Gen AK Bardalai, Lt Gen BS Sachar, Lt Gen GS Katoch, Lt Gen Ashok Ambre, Maj Gen Rajiv Narayanan, Lt Gen Sanjeev Chauhan, Brig Manjeet Mehta, Brig Rajwant Singh and Brig PS Bindra. The report also mentions the initiatives taken by the GOCs of 2 MTN DIV and Commanders of 82 & 181 Mountain Brigades of the Indian Army since the year 2004 to promote girls education and improve life in rural Arunachal Pradesh and the region. 
Tayang also thanked the dignitaries for the affectionate care and service rendered by the Indian Army and the Army Wives Welfare Association.
In the sidelines of the Thanksgiving ceremony conducted by the community in the Beena Ghose Roy Enclave, the FWO chief and the GOC also handed over financial assistance to beneficiaries of Bibha-Shanta Prakalp and the Sanjeev Prakalp care for elder initiative of the Beena Ghose Roy Scheme by the Anu Shiksha Seva Trust in the presence of Ritu Sharan, Brig TM Sinha, Col Sandeep Kurup, CO 4 Madras and Suraj Tayang. 
The Anu Shiksha Seva Trust thanked IGP CK Mein, IPS and Col Sandeep Kurup CO, 4 Madras for rendering support to the event.
