Assam-Arunachal border delineation exercise concludes in Lower Siang
PASIGHAT, Jul 22: Indian Army along with Pasighat Fire Station today organized a joint fire fighting exercise named ’’Agni-Rakshak’’ at Sigar, under Mebo subdivision in East Siang district.
The exercise was aimed at achieving synergy and refining drills and procedures against all types of fire incidents and hazards. It assisted in developing Joint Response Mechanism and refining firefighting drills. The event also instilled a sense of faith and confidence between Armed Forces and civil authorities to fight jointly against any such crisis.
216 Army men from Sigar, 8 Fire officials and 4 officials of SDRF participated in the exercise.
