NAMSAI, Oct 18: Alok Ranjan Jha, Ambassador of India to Republic of Belarus and Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, High Commissioner of India to Tanzania visited Namsai today.
A review meeting on Aspirational District Programme was convened at the District Secretariat, Namsai which was presided by the Indian Ambassadors.
Jha, emphasized the Prime Minister’s words on how important it is for all Foreign Service Officers’ to go to other parts of the country to try and understand important issues and topics.
He stated that international policies and agreements can only go so far as factors at home are being well developed. He highlighted how the presentations helped him get a more polished view of things and how new schemes that are developed need to be effective and actually work and not just be “video games” because these schemes are necessary to help the state develop.
He stressed on improving the human resource quality in education sector as education is the key to unlocking progressiveness. He then appealed every department to work at the grassroot level. 
Pradhan, voiced how development is as important as growth to a state and stressed on the growth of hydro- power, agriculture, tourism, etc. He stated that the presentations helped him to learn more about his own country.
He then went on to congratulate the district on the growth from the 93rd overall position at the start of ADP to presently being ranked 14th among 112 other districts.
