ITANAGAR, Jul 20: District Administration Capital Itanagar convened an awareness outreach program in connection with GoI’s Agneepath Scheme Agniveervayu for induction of eligible men and women into the Indian Air Force at various schools of Itanagar today.
A team of Indian Air Force from 11 Airmen Selection Centre Guwahati led by Warrant Officer Dipnarayan Sahu and Junior Warrant Officer Vijay Kumar visited GHSS Ganga, GHSS Arunodaya Itanagar and KV-II Chimpu briefed the students about various prospects of joining the Indian Air Force. The team had a fruitful session with the students who were inquisitive to know about the opportunities of working with the Indian Air Force.
They also briefed in detail about Agniveervayu under Agneepath scheme to the students.
They informed that those students who have passed 10+2/intermediate/equivalent (50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in Eng) are eligible for online registration which would commence  from 27th July 2023 to 17th August 2023. The Deputy Commissioner Capital Itanagar Talo Potom stressed that such recruitments are being held for the youths of the State.
Moreover, such opportunities would also provide a platform to the unemployed youths not just with employment opportunities but also help strengthen the armed forces, said the DC.
EAC Hq Khoda Lasa urged the students to take the maximum opportunity of such Awareness Outreach Program by Indian Air Force and to disseminate the same to family, friends, neighbours etc., so that such employment opportunities are not missed out. 
He further said that the aim of the publicity campaign is to reach out to the schools and colleges and to present various employment opportunities according to different eligibility criteria.
During the program, students were felicitated with prizes for actively participating in the question answer round.
