ITANAGAR, May 21: BJP’s Mahila Morcha National President, Vijaya Rahatkar today said that Arunachal is not the last part of India but India starts from Arunachal. She was in the state capital on Sunday and said this while addressing the state executive meeting of BJP Mahila Morcha.

Lauding the dedication of state BJP Mahila Morcha team, Ms Rahatkar termed them ‘true BJP workers who are selflessly working for the upliftment of the party.’ She further urged the members to become a bridge between the common people and the government so that every scheme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi led BJP government would reach to all countrymen.

Stating that BJP is the world’s largest political party with more than 10 crore members in which 30/32 percent members are women, she said ‘We all have to work hard and should contribute in nation building by supporting the  Prime Minister in his  venture  to reach every single person of the country and by elucidating the people about the various advantageous schemes of the BJP government such as Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Ujwala Yojana,Mudra Yojana, skill development and others.’

Taking a jibe albeit implicitly at the grand old party, the National President  Mahila Morcha  asserted that in last 60 years the previous government had failed to address the genuine grievances of the common people but the BJP in last three years has touched every single commoner and downtrodden of the country.

‘Government is all set to provide LPG connection to more than five crore households under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) which is a remarkable achievement,’ she asserted.

Earlier, state Vice President BJP, Dominic Tadar briefed the gathering on contribution of Pt Deendayal Upadhyay in nation building and formation of the Bharatiya Janata party. Among others, Minister for Health Jomde Kena, National Secretary BJP Mahila Morcha, Pooja Mishra, State President BJP Mahila Morcha Tadar Yaying also spoke at the daylong state executive meeting.
