PASIGHAT, Aug 5: India Post on Saturday released a special cover on 'Du:dap', Adi traditional ornament. 
The East Siang Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu along with the former ABK (Apex) President Tony Pertin, President of Adi Cultural and Literary Society Kaling Borang, superintendent of Post office Itanagar Jayanta Bhattacharjee, President and General Secretary of Adi Bane Ane Kebang (ABAK) Onam Pertin and Binoimoti Modi Tayeng released the special cover in presence of members of ABK/ABAK.
Speaking on the occasion, DC Taggu said that the special cover was a tribute to the rich culture and heritage of the Adi community in particular and the state as a whole and an effort by the postal department to promote the traditional ornament worldwide. Terming that the day was historic, Taggu informed that the special cover is similar to postal stamp, valued by philatelists and stamp collectors, he added.
