ITANAGAR, Nov 20: India Post has won the 6th edition of the Arunachal Pradesh Central Government Inter-Departmental Cricket Tournament-2022 by beating Prasar Bharati by 30 runs in the final match played at RGU ground today. With this India Post has won the tournament for the 4th time.
Batting first India Post had scored a total of 157 runs in 20 overs. In reply, Prasar Bharati was bowled out for 128 runs with 2 overs remaining. For India Post, Victor SInha scored 53 runs of 51 balls and for Prasar Bharati, Ajeet Ghosh scored 38 runs while Sandip Thakur scored 35 runs of 16 balls.
Rono Das of India Post was adjudged Man of the Match. This edition of the Arunachal Pradesh Central Government Inter-Departmental Cricket Tournament-2022 was participated by 10 teams, Prasar Bharati Cricket Club, Rajiv Gandhi University, Kendriya Vidyalaya-1, Kendriya Vidyalaya-2, SBI, NEEPCO, NERIST, India Post, BSNL and NIT.
