NAHARLAGUN, Jan 24: Mayor, Itanagar Municipal Corporation, Tame Phassang has urged the Corporators to be practical while dealing with public works for development and welfare of the people.
Addressing the gathering here at Techi Takar community hall at G Sector during an inauguration programme of IMC Ward 16  Corporator office, Phassang said “We are elected leaders and are responsible to work for the welfare of people and development of the area. We should hear public grievances from all sections of society before taking a recommendation.”
 Phassang also revealed that every month a Business Advisory meeting with all elected Corporators will be held and public grievances taken up for discussion. He further said that the IMC is on the lookout for a permanent office premises.
Ward No-16 Corporator Tarh Achak also addressed the gathering and sought public support and cooperation in development of the area.
