ITANAGAR, May 16: Several community based indigenous faith groups, District Unit IFCSAP and members of prayer and cultural centres i.e. Nyedar Namlo, Golgi Bote Gangging, Kargu Gamgi, Meder Nello, Donyi Polo Namlo, Tancho Klumya, Rangshomhum etc. have started staging peaceful sit-in protests in the districts and the capital region since May 15 last against the state government's failure to fulfill its promise. 
Besides demanding for early implementation of Arunachal Pradesh Freedom of Religion Act, 1978 (APFRA, 1978) and issue the notification of its Draft Rule and immediate restoration of the already notified Department of Indigenous Faith and Cultural Affairs (DIFCA) from the existing renamed Department of Indigenous Affairs (DIA), they are exerting tremendous pressure on the Central Executive Committee (CEC) IFCSAP to take up the issue at the highest level for immediate redressed of the genuine concerns. 
The Indigenous Faith & Cultural Society of Arunachal Pradesh (IFCSAP) has reiterated to the state government for the immediate fulfillment of the two demands at the earliest.
